AK Design is a young, energetic, medium-sized Architecture and Interior Design practice (35+) with internationally qualified design professionals from many countries of origin. We undertake a wide variety of boutique design work including resort hotels, offices, mixed-use and high-end residential. We have undertaken work in Dubai, other Emirates in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman and Europe. We offer a rare opportunity for talented and enthusiastic Designers to join a vibrant and quality-conscious design studio. We pursue the modern, minimalist approach as there is a growing demand for this approach in this part of the world. We invite you to see some of our exciting work on: www.akdesign.com – Due to our expanding workload, we require to increase our design team, we have therefore opened the following position to qualified candidates with the appropriate level of experience, skills and enthusiasm. AKD 4 – IT ADMINISTRATOR. Our design practice is heavily dependent upon the uninterrupted provision of computer support services. The IT Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and developing all computer and IT-related systems. The candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot and remedy faults on both local and networked systems. A familiarity with server-based networked systems is therefore essential. An understanding of the administration and
operation of CAD and office based software applications is desirable. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and must have the ability to work independently with minimal support.
